BASEM 2025 – Leeds: Usono Proudly Supporting Innovation in Sports Medicine

Last week (18 and 19 November), Leeds became the epicenter of sports medicine as experts from around the world gathered for BASEM 2025. This two-day event was packed with cutting edge insights, practical workshops, and inspiring conversations. As a proud sponsor, Usono was thrilled to see our technology in action, helping clinicians push the boundaries of rehabilitation and return-to-play strategies

Dynamic Ultrasound Takes Center Stage
Two standout workshops showcased how dynamic ultrasound can transform hamstring rehab:

From Static to Dynamic: Live Hamstring Ultrasound with ProbeFix for Safer Return to Play
Led by Dr. Marwan Al-Dawoud, this session demonstrated how hands-free ultrasound imaging with ProbeFix provides real-time insights during movement making return-to-play decisions safer and more precise.

HRIG – Accelerating Return to Play Using Sprint-Specific Force, EMG and Dynamic Ultrasound
Delivered by Dr. Martin McIntyre (HRIG), this workshop combined EMG and dynamic ultrasound to give clinicians a deeper understanding of muscle function during rehab.

Why This Matters
ProbeFix isn’t just a tool it’s a game-changer. By enabling hands-free, dynamic imaging, clinicians can observe muscles in motion, track progress, and make informed decisions that keep athletes safe and performing at their best.
