EU-Funded R&D collaboration: Performance & Revalidatie met Innovatieve Monitoring en Evaluatie

Weโre excited to announce a very exciting EU-funded R&D collaboration with ARION, Anna Zorggroep and Maastricht University, coordinated by Stimulus!
In the collaborative project called ๐๐๐๐๐ (๐๐๐ซ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐๐ & ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ญ ๐๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฏ๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ง ๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ข๐) we embark on a journey to unlock new insights and advance the frontiers of science in physiotherapy.
This project aims to develop an advanced, personalized rehabilitation system for muscles and tendons. By integrating innovative technologies from Dutch SMEs ATOGEAR (ARION) and USONO (ProbeFix Dyanmic), the system will improve the effectiveness of non-invasive treatments and reduce the need for costly, invasive procedures. The technology will monitor key muscle and tendon parameters to optimize rehabilitation exercises and track progress over time. Collaborating with Maastricht University and Sports and Orthopedics Eindhoven, the project combines clinical expertise with advanced measurement tools to create a user-friendly system, including a smartphone app for real-time feedback and at-home exercises. The ultimate goal is to enhance rehabilitation outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
Our CTO Jori Verbeek who joined the formal kickoff:
“I’m very excited that we can combine the Arion insole data models with dynamic ultrasound insights from the clinic. We aim to facilitate better understanding of biomechanics behaviour of muscles and tendons. This eventually should lead to better patient outcomes, quicker recovery times, and reduced risk of re-injury.”
