About Usono
Usono is a MedTech company revolutionizing musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound through dynamic imaging solutions. Our main product, ProbeFix Dynamic, is used by doctors of elite sports organizations such as Villarreal CF, AS Roma and research institutions such as MIT. Thanks to our hardware, they unlock new insights in the body in movement, for prevention, diagnosis and rehabilitation.
Usono designs and develops (hardware and software) products, systems and services from a user perspective. We have a research and development culture in which design plays a major role. We work hands-on with lots of prototypes and design iterations and stimulate multi-disciplinary teamwork. Multiple products and systems are still in development, creating a vibrant and diverse workplace. We are seeking an all-round Industrial Design intern
The Job
As our Industrial Design Intern, you are working on multiple projects that range from conceptual design to production. You will work closely with the CTO to ensure design, development and production is consistent and delivered on time. You’ll shape the future of dynamic ultrasound by:
- Researching users and context.
- Participating in brainstorms and ideation sessions. Translating outcomes to concrete design input and outcome.
- Designing, developing and testing prototypes.
- Participating in production and assembly of products.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a technical student that is motivated and eager to learn and make a difference.
- Student in Industrial Design or Product Design.
- Skilled in Solidworks.
- (Based) understanding of mechanical design/engineering.
- Hands-on and willing to participate in production and assembly.
- Experience and skills in working with soft materials (like fabrics) is a big plus.
- Good communication skills (at least in English).
