From architecture to software development
Rasheed, 35 years old, has a unique and versatile background. Originally from Sudan, he now lives in Maastricht with his wife and five-year-old son. His career didn’t start in software, but in architecture and design. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture & design from the University of Khartoum, and later earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Oregon State University.This combination of technical and creative expertise forms a strong foundation for his work as a software engineer today.
Experience in AgriTech and AI
Before joining Usono, Rasheed worked as a Full Stack Developer at AgriData Innovations, a Delft-based B2B AgriTech company. There, he developed AI-powered imaging solutions for greenhouse horticulture, both in the Netherlands and internationally.This experience with cutting-edge technologies and real-world applications in a complex industry aligns seamlessly with Usono’s innovative ambitions.
Building the future of medical collaboration
In his current role as Lead Full Stack Developer, Rasheed works closely with the CTO and architect to design and develop Usono’s new platform from end to end.“It’s inspiring to contribute to a platform that can truly change the way doctors and clinicians collaborate,” Rasheed says. “By using technology and AI in a smart way, we can make their work easier and ultimately improve patient care.”
