Three days of Isokinetic,  Athens 2026

The Isokinetic Conference 2026 in Athens once again brought together leading professionals in sports medicine. For Usono, it was a highly valuable edition that continuously reinforced one core belief: to truly understand function, you need to assess movement. Scientific presentations, live demonstrations, and in‑depth discussions with clinicians, we saw how dynamic ultrasound continues to establish itself as a vital component in rehabilitation, injury prevention and return‑to‑play decision‑making.

Making function visible in clinical practice
One of the highlights for us were the scientific sessions by Dr. Colin Griffin PhD, OLY, and Dr. Marwan Al‑Dawoud. Using real clinical cases, they demonstrated how ProbeFix Dynamic enables ultrasound imaging during actual functional loading in calf and hamstring rehab. These sessions clearly illustrated why hands‑free, standardised ultrasound makes such a difference. Rather than relying on static snapshots, clinicians were able to visualise the behaviour of muscles, tendons and nerves during movement, precisely where key clinical decisions around load, recovery and risk are made.

Clinical impact we recognise worldwide
The cases presented aligned closely with what we see in our daily collaboration with clinicians around the world. ProbeFix Dynamic enables sharper diagnostics with ultrasound during function, while also improving efficiency and clinical differentiation in daily practice. This approach allows clinicians to:
1. Detect functional deficits that remain invisible in static imaging
2. Establish standardised, reproducible protocols for recurring clinical questions
3. Make functional motion visible by assessing muscles, tendons, and joints under real‑life load
4. Monitor healing over time using objective, visually trackable documentation

Together, these elements support more confident clinical decision‑making and a deeper understanding of tissue behaviour during movement.

For us at Usono, these applications underline the importance of linking imaging directly to function,  a combination that increases diagnostic confidence and improves the quality of clinical decision‑making.

Valuable interaction on the exhibition
floorBeyond the lectures, the exhibition floor played an important role. At booth #4, we hosted live demonstrations where ProbeFix Dynamic was used for:
• ProbeFix Dynamic in calf/achilles and post-plantarisectomy rehab
• ProbeFix Dynamic to understand function in rehab hamstrings

We saw many familiar faces, friends, customers and made new connections. Especially the interactions between ProbeFix users was really storing and insightful everyone involved. The conversations with sports physicians, physiotherapists and researchers once again confirmed the growing demand for objective functional data. The questions and discussions highlighted that dynamic ultrasound is increasingly being recognised as a necessary addition within modern sports medicine.

What Isokinetic 2026 meant for us at Usono
Looking back, Isokinetic Athens 2026 was more than just a conference for us. The atmosphere at our booth and the interest in what we showcased reaffirmed that we’re moving in the right direction.A special thanks to Colin Griffin and Marwan Al‑Dawoud for the great demonstrations they delivered during the event. Insightful, engaging, and very well received. And we’ve signed a new distribution partner, which you can read soon about in a next blogpost.Thank you to everyone who stopped by and took the time to connect. We are really looking forward to what comes next, Páme! Will we see you (again) in Milano in April 2027?
