Usono & Telemed announce agreement to bring ultrasound systems to researchers globally.
EINDHOVEN, The Netherlands, VILNIUS, Lituania – Usono and Telemed are proud to announce their distribution agreement. Usono is appointed as distributor systems to researchers all over the world. The two companies are in business for years already and decided to make it official with a partnership.
Telemed manufactures medical ultrasound systems and components allowing researchers a cost-effective possibility to access the RAW data in real-time. The open and flexible system architecture provides more insights and opportunities than traditional systems. With this system, researchers can directly process the raw data on the computer in programs like Matlab. Usono made the ProbeFix Dynamic T for Amsterdam UMC compatible with one of the Telemed probes (LV/LF) for a research project on children with cerebral palsy. This version is now sold worldwide for several applications in human movement sciences. Both the Telemed products and ProbeFix products are popular among researchers. The combination of the products creates opportunities that were not possible before. For a recent publication the first author Bas van Hooren mentioned: “Capturing the ultrasound data would have been much more difficult or even impossible without the ProbeFix Dynamic T”.
Building on years of collaboration
